Among their complaints: a lack of consistent teachers, the reassignment of the school principal, educators who abuse sick time and a shortage of textbooks.
It is well that these young men recognize the deficiencies in what is offered to them. They’ve been suspended. This indicates what the education authorities think of their views.
To all students locked in these poor institutions: instead of relying on the administrators, local or central governments, and teachers to fix an irreparable monopoly institution which exists to serve others’ interests before yours, get thee to the library and educate yourselves. There are many fine tools that you can use to excel and prosper despite your circumstances. See, for example, Khan Academy at www.khanacademy.org. It is up to you to be taught (to learn), not any other person. No other person cares about your interests or your future as much as you do or should. Do not put your future in others’ hands. Good luck.
