Why our food is making us fat | Business | The Guardian

Big government, not big food made the problem. Governments and health parastatals marketed the high carb diet and still do in probably the greatest epidemiological failure in history. Same folks won’t go to Taiwan to investigate epidemics though so what does that tell you about them? It’s not the sheen on bread that makes us fat, it’s the bread, and it’s all the other empty carbs at the base of the government’s food pyramid. They committed malpractice but with all government malpractice they will avoid consequences and seek to lay blame on others. http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2012/jun/11/why-our-food-is-making-us-fat
