Or even better, no one is coerced by government to disclose anything and we evaluate the messages on the merits. Aside from the simple premise that it is wrong for government to force people (and yes, associations of people) to publicly state their political preferences, years of the forced disclosure regime – which is really designed to restrain and intimidate people by making what should be private public – has done nothing to stem what you describe as obvious graft and corruption; why must you call for yet more of the same failed solution?
